Making Amends

I'm making amends For all my poor choices My bad behavior And all my misdeeds With lovers and friends I spoke in false voices I was not someone To be believed God I know that it takes more Than just sayin' I'm sorry God knows it takes time to heal The damage I've done But I'm making amends And tryin' to do better I do not want to hurt anyone God I know it takes more Than just sayin' I'm sorry And just feeling regret does not set All the old wrongs to right But I'm making amends And tryin' to do better God how I want to Walk in the light I swear I am trying To walk in the light
