Well my girl's been gettin' on me About my alcohol intake And she swore that she'd be leavin' If I didn't start walkin' straight But I stumbled home last evenin' And she threw herself a fit She said "Mister I want the whole damn truth Or I swear this is it" I said "You want the whole truth?" She said "I want the whole truth" I said "Here it goes" Well I got me a body buried in the backyard And drugs underneath the stove And your sisters are hidin' in the basement 'Cause I've been hookin' up with 'em both Now don't you look at me like that 'Cause you asked for the whole truth And oh yeah, I've been drinkin' too Well that girl didn't wait a minute She called the sheriff on my ass And I think he was waitin' on the call 'Cause he sure showed up fast But he gave our place a good look around And he didn't know what to do He met me outside and said "Do you know what your wife has been sayin' about you?" I said "What has she been sayin', officer?" "Well she said you had a body buried in the backyard And drugs underneath the stove And that her sisters were hidin' in the basement 'Cause you've been hookin' up with 'em both But I searched this cabin high and low And I just can't find no proof" I said "No proof at all, officer?"
